Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Just Guess This. The Service is operated by Novologia Ltd, a company registered in Israel (“Novologia”, “we”). By using our website and game (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. The Service
Just Guess This is a browser-based party guessing game. Each riddle reveals clues one by one, sometimes over a hidden picture; players buzz in on their own device and type their answer, and the earlier a right answer comes, the more it scores. One player creates the game (the “host”); the others join with a link, QR code or room code. A game can also be played alone (“solo”), or sent as a one-riddle “challenge” that friends play in their own time.
Every device gets 2 free solo games and one free challenge, and every person gets 2 free party games (played with others, as host or guest), without an account. A free party goes on while its host has free party games left, and a host’s game counts when it starts. Anyone with a free party game left can join a free party; someone with none left can no longer join one, and is told so before joining. Free games are counted per device and per person: to keep them fair, automated checks may recognise the same person when they come back in another browser or app. After that, hosting a game or sending a challenge requires a pass (section 3). Players who join a game hosted with a pass, or answer a challenge, play free, without an account. We offer the Service “as is” and may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. Discontinuing the whole Service follows the commitments in section 3 (purchased access and service availability).
2. Your account
You can play without an account. An account is created when you buy a pass, attached to the email address you give at checkout, or when you sign in. We use passwordless sign-in: you enter your email and we send a one-time code — there is no password to manage. You’re responsible for keeping access to your email secure, and for activity under your account. You must provide an email address you own.
3. Purchases & payments
We sell one pass, the Full Pass: it lets you host Just Guess This games — parties, solo games and challenges — with no fixed expiration date. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it does not renew, and nothing is charged again. A pass is a license to use the Service; it does not give you ownership of its software, infrastructure or intellectual property. Prices, currency and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
Purchased access and service availability. A pass grants access without a fixed expiration date, for as long as the Service continues to operate. We may decide to discontinue the Service. In the event of a planned permanent discontinuation, we will give at least 90 days’ advance notice on the website and by email to the address on your account, stop selling new passes from the day we announce it, and keep the Service running throughout the notice period. Every pass includes a minimum of 90 days of access from the date of purchase; if we cannot fulfil this commitment, we will provide an appropriate remedy, such as a full or proportional refund, in accordance with applicable law. This notice is a commitment for a planned discontinuation, not a promise that outages or circumstances beyond our reasonable control can never occur (section 9). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory consumer rights, including applicable refund or cancellation rights.
Personal use. A pass is for personal and social use: hosting games with the people you play with, and playing solo, as often as you like. Automated, commercial or shared-account use is not allowed, and we may limit or end a pass used that way. If that ever happens to you by mistake, contact us at support@justguessthis.com and we’ll sort it out.
A pass attaches to your account (your email) and is personal and non-transferable: it lets you host games on the devices you sign into, up to 2 at a time (signing in on another one signs out the one used longest ago), and a pass runs one game at a time. It may not be resold or shared outside your household. The players in a game you host play free; this is part of what the pass includes, not a transfer of it.
Our payment partner and merchant of record is Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) — your order is processed by Paddle, Paddle’s checkout terms apply to the transaction, and your receipt comes from Paddle. We never receive your card details. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
4. Your answers and names
The names, avatars and answers you use in a game are shown to the other players in that game. You give us permission to store your answers, show them to the players of that game, and send them to the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy so they can be judged. We also keep the answers players type, without any name or identifier, in an answer bank that we use to judge future answers better. Don’t type anything unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit, don’t use a name that impersonates someone else, and don’t type personal information — yours or anyone else’s — as an answer.
5. The judging
Answers are judged automatically: by matching them against the accepted answers first and, when that isn’t clear, by AI. A verdict may sometimes be surprising or wrong. Points have no monetary value and the results of a game confer no prize.
6. Acceptable use
- Don’t use the Service for anything unlawful or abusive.
- Don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems, or to automate play.
- Don’t scrape, copy or redistribute our game, riddles or content except as allowed by law.
7. Content & intellectual property
The game, riddles, clues, artwork, text and software are owned by Novologia Ltd or its licensors and protected by law. You get a personal, non-commercial licence to play. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Many riddle photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under the licences their authors chose (such as Creative Commons licences or the public domain); each one is credited, with its author and licence, where the answer is revealed. Some pictures are generated with AI. Riddles about real people, places, brands and works only refer to them: Just Guess This is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and every trademark belongs to its owner.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Novologia Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll update this page; your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these Terms limits the rights you hold under those laws.
